How to Take It Correctly?

The recommended initial dose for ModaXL is 200 mg. However, it may be reduced or increased based on your response to it. Only 1 pill is to be taken per day. Taking more than a single dose per day could cause an overdose and ultimately increase the risk of adverse effects. The pill is to be swallowed whole with a substantial amount of water. Crushing it to snort or inhale, as well as dissolving the tablet in water, is inadvisable, as it alters the dosage, causing the drug to be ineffective.

The time to take the pill may vary based on the condition looking to be treated. For SWSD, take the pill 1 hour before the start of the work shift. For narcolepsy and OSA, take the pill early in the morning. Because ModaXL has 12+ hours of action, taking it later in the day could make it difficult to sleep at night.
