How to Take It Correctly?

ArmodaXL is effective but only if it is taken correctly. The recommended initial dose for the drug is 150 mg. However, a doctor may increase or reduce it based on tolerability and sensitivity. As the drug is used to treat 3 major sleep disorders, its effectiveness to a great extent depends on the time of administration.

For SWSD, take 1 pill about 1 hour before starting a work shift. Swallow it whole with a full glass of water to wash it down the throat. For OSA and narcolepsy treatment, take 1 tablet very early in the morning. Because ArmodaXL’s effects typically last for about 12+ hours, it can make nighttime sleep a tad challenging.

Do not dissolve the tablet in water or crush and snort it, as doing so can reduce its efficacy. It is advisable to consult a doctor before taking ArmodaXL or any other drug.

It is not a perfect replacement for a good sleep routine. Try to get adequate sleep every night or every time you sleep.
Do not drive or do any activity requiring concentration until you are sure how it affects you.
Consume this med at a fixed time each day as prescribed to maintain a consistent level in the blood.
